Setting up in Private Practice – The Course

.

When you train as a therapist, you may not have considered it will lead you to running your own business; therapy school has no capacity to prepare you, so when you begin to contemplate setting up your own private practice, it can feel like a minefield.  So many decisions, from the legalities to financial planning, can be overwhelming if you’re on the brink of making your dream a reality but are hesitating, lost in the what and how; the upcoming course, “Getting Started in Private Practice,” is tailored for you. You will learn from someone who has walked in your steps and gone before you and is ready to hand over the road map.

Led by therapist Sarah Rees, who has run a fully booked therapy practice for over ten years focusing on seeing self-funded clients and author of “The Therapist’s Guide to Private Practice- Building a Values-Based Practice” (out now Preorder here), this course is your compass to navigate the complexities of establishing a thriving practice. Sarah’s expertise, coupled with her recent writing for Routledge, ensures that you’re in capable hands.

Sarah’s aim is to help you build a resilient, sustainable, and profitable business that you run with confidence, one that runs smoothly so that you can focus on what you love to do the most: delivering effective and transformative therapy to your clients who need it the most.
